Progressive Rock Band Pulsifier To Release New Single “Glass Cage” October 16, 2026
Southern Maine-based progressive rock band Pulsifier are set to release their upcoming single “Glass Cage” on October 16, 2026!
The band describes their new song: “Our latest release Glass Cage channels the inner shadow voice—drawing on Carl Jung’s concept of the shadow self—to confront the parts of us we keep locked away. Written from that raw, unfiltered perspective of the shadow, the track builds to a powerful chant designed to be screamed along with, turning private struggle into a collective release.”
Listeners can expect the complex riffs and provocative lyrics that Pulsifier is known for—yet, as every fan knows, each song carries its own distinct identity, something fresh and unexpected. ‘Glass Cage’ is no exception. It will haunt you. The band hopes listeners dig deeper into the meaning behind the words for themselves.

Pulsifier is a progressive rock band from southern Maine founded in 2023 by guitarist Christopher Skehan and lyricist/lead singer MeA, and drummer Jay Allen Grant. Adding to the low-end, Christopher Pomerleau one of the newest members of the band. Pulsifier’s music is a raw and passionate style of progressive rock with a little edge at times, and a lean towards complexity; an eclectic mix of poetry and riffs, exploring the bounds of reality. The name “Pulsifier” is emblematic of the band recognizing that as musicians, they are a channel through which vibrations flow, transforming into something new to share.
