About “Haunt Me” (Lyrics by Mindy Milburn)
“Haunt Me” is about the loss of a loved one too soon, and in the despair of missing that person, how one might ask to be haunted, to be given a sign or an omen that the person on the other side is somehow still with them.

Taken far too early, stolen from this life too soon

The idea came to me when I heard of a tragic loss, a young mother dying during childbirth, and how the husband could go on after suffering such a tremendous loss like this. I couldn’t stop thinking about it, what he would be feeling and how do you cope. It just seemed so impossible to me, but somehow, when tragedy strikes, the world does keep moving on. So this song is an expression of what someone in that situation might be wishing and praying for at all costs- a glimpse of a memory in a dream, a whisper through the trees, a phone that rings suspiciously or sudden static on a screen. Any potential sign to grasp onto to feel comforted that that loved one is still somehow present and nearby, and to never want to let them go.

About the production:
“Haunt Me” was written by Mindy Milburn (lyrics); music by Laura Espinoza & Enrique Garcia and produced by Bernie Godwin. They are joined by Michaela Metivier, Logan Miles Nix, Chris Eisenberg and Loris Eisaeian.

Mindy has a passion for all performing arts- starting out as a ballet dancer and actress, & eventually finding her voice and passion for songwriting and music. She is also the lead vocalist for the Blondie Tribute Band “Heart of Blonde”. Originally from Cleveland Ohio, she has performed in numerous musical theater productions & indie films and was also a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers Dance Team. Mindy made the move to southern California to follow her dream of becoming a recording artist and feels very blessed by the opportunities that have come her way.

Studio City, CA – Lightyear Entertainment announces the release of Club Nouveau’s “The Collection” on Vinyl for the first time, in honor of the 25th anniversary of the album’s Compact Disc/Digital release in 1998.

The LP contains the band’s biggest hit song “Rumors” and its worldwide hit of the Bill Withers song, “Lean On Me.”

“Rumors alone generates about 2 million streams a month,” said Arnie Holland, CEO of Lightyear. “That kind of fan base 25 years after this album’s initial release deserves a vinyl.”

Along with such acts as Sly & The Family Stone, Con Funk Shun, En Vogue, MC Hammer, and Tony! Toni! Tone!, Club Nouveau have made an indelible mark on the Bay Area’s rich urban music scene. Since forming in 1986, Club Nouveau have sold well over ten million units, toured extensively, charted eleven Billboard hit singles, and won numerous awards. Their music has resurfaced in numerous rap hits which have sampled its infectious melodies.

“The Dark Side Of The Moon” will always remain Pink Floyd’s greatest achievement. A landmark album in every respect and housed in one of the most iconic album sleeves of all time.

Statistics for its sales – 50 million worldwide and counting – and chart history – 15 consecutive years on the Billboard 200 – are mind-boggling. As the album enjoys its 50th anniversary year it still shows little sign of waning in its popularity as new generations of music lovers discover its wonders.

Its release in March 1973 saw the album go straight to No.1 in the US and No.2 in the UK. Previous albums had been a hit and miss affair, a series of tracks both with lyrics as well as instrumental, but “The Dark Side Of The Moon” presented a more literal concept, a continuous piece woven with tracks dealing with the pressures of life, birth, death, war, mental illness and inequality to name a few. This clearly struck a chord.

Similarly, their live shows had built a steady cult following too, which had seen their new album previewed live as a work in progress since January 1972. However, it was with the release of the single “Money” to FM radio in North America that it suddenly propelled the band into the sphere of stadium touring.

Consequently, their live shows began to take on another dimension, becoming a multi-media extravaganza with inflatable props, pyrotechnics on a massive scale and a giant circular projection screen featuring specially made live action and animation films.

Pink Floyd had finally arrived in grand style and with it followed a slew of highly regarded conceptual albums and live shows that are remembered as nothing short of spectacular.

As author Glenn Povey explains, “Pink Floyd were a unique phenomenon. They broke the mould both in terms of recording technique but also stage presentation and created a mystique that set them apart. My ongoing research into their history has spawned many books but here I have collated all of their performance and recording history surrounding this remarkable album.”

Inside this box of delights you will find the complete recording history of the “The Dark Side Of The Moon”, documentation of all the live performances of the album by the band, previously unpublished photos and illustrations as well as facsimile memorabilia including photos, programs, handbills and passes.

Richard Wright says at one point, “We understand each other very well. We are very tolerant of each other”. Nick Mason says, “We are all from the British aristocracy with the exception of David Gilmour….”

This band interview is a rare gem, from a band which seldom gave interviews. It’s sure to raise an eyebrow or two looking back from 2023.

The longer interview is over 30 mins long with Richard Wright, where he discusses touring and looking back at “The Dark Side Of The Moon”, the band’s inner workings on how they write and play together, solo albums, along with living in the English countryside.

This CD of interviews, along with all the memorabilia and legendary Floyd historian Glenn Povey’s commentary makes this limited-edition super deluxe box set, the perfect companion to the official “The Dark Side of the Moon” set.

Andrew Gold’s pastiche psychedelic masterpiece “The Fraternal Order of the All – Greetings from Planet Love” will be released on CD on July 28, 2023.

Initially released in 1997, the album was conceived by Andrew Gold as a tribute to late 60s psychedelic rock. His remarkable compositions were wonderful stylistic evocations of artists such as The Beatles, The Beach Boys, The Byrds and The Doors.

The project saw Gold create the fictitious band The Fraternal Order of the All, in reality Andrew playing most of the instrumentation and singing, along with guest musicians such as 10cc legend Graham Gouldman.

Also available as a limited edition double LP is pressed on 10-inch colored splatter vinyl and features a newly designed lavish gatefold sleeve.

Todd Felderstein started SMARTPHONE THEATRE during the Pandemic and it’s proven to be a fabulous platform for showcasing works by actors and playwrights. Asaad Kaleda is a well-known stage and television director.

Kathryn Leigh Scott is an author and actress. She played four roles, including Maggie Evans and Josette DuPres, in the original Gothic series, “Dark Shadows” and “House of Dark Shadows” (1970). She wrote “Dark Shadows: Return to Collinwood” and “Dark Shadows Movie Book,” among other books about the hit series. Her recent feature films include, “The Eleventh Green” with Campbell Scott, “Three Christs” with Richard Gere and Juliana Margulies and Woody Allen’s “A Rainy Day in New York.” She recently appeared in “The Blacklist,” Hallmark Channel’s “Broadcasting Christmas,” Lifetime’s “A Wedding to Die For,” and has a recurring role as George Segal’s girlfriend Miriam in “The Goldbergs.” She has written the novels “September Girl,” “Jinxed,” “Down and Out in Beverly Heels” and “Dark Passages.” Nonfiction includes the Lobby Card books on film art, “Last Dance at the Savoy,” “The Bunny Years” and a trilogy of books on caregiving: “Now With You, Now Without,” “The Happy Hours” and “A Welcome Respite.” She resides in New York and Los Angeles.

Susan Sullivan is best known for her roles as Lenore Curtin Delaney on the NBC daytime soap opera “Another World” (1971–76), as Lois Adams on the ABC sitcom “It’s a Living” (1980–81), as Maggie Gioberti Channing on the CBS primetime soap opera “Falcon Crest” (1981–90), as Kitty Montgomery on the ABC sitcom “Dharma & Greg” (1997–2002), and as Martha Rodgers on “Castle” (2009–2016). She was nominated for an Emmy for Lead Actress for the role of Julie Farr in the 1978 series “Julie Farr, M.D”. and a Golden Globe nomination for Supporting Actress for her role in “Dharma & Greg.”

David Selby, an American film, television, and stage actor, is best known for playing Quentin Collins on the daytime gothic soap opera “Dark Shadows” (1968–71) and Richard Channing on the prime-time soap “Falcon Crest” (1982–90). Selby also had prominent roles in the television series “Flamingo Road” (1981–82) and the feature films “Night of Dark Shadows” (1971) and “Raise the Titanic” (1980). As a published writer, Selby has written several books, including novels, memoirs, and collections of poetry.

Born in Austria and now residing in England, Trickster is a musician whose life story is as captivating as his music. From a broken family and a tumultuous childhood to triumphs and trials around the world, Trickster’s journey is an extraordinary tale of perseverance and transformation.

At the tender age of 10, Trickster ran away from home with the hope of reuniting his parents. This early act of determination set the stage for a life filled with audacity and ambition. Despite facing rejection from music school due to doubts about his talent, Trickster’s passion for music remained unwavering. He started playing the piano at the age of 3 and resigned to performing in strip clubs by the time he turned 16.

Trickster’s path took unpredictable turns, including brushes with the law and a prison sentence at the age of 18 for financial missteps. However, these setbacks did not define him. Trickster became a polyglot, speaking an impressive 11 languages, and even served as a pilot and a soldier. Along his extraordinary journey, he traveled to 97 countries, leaving behind an indelible mark wherever he went.

While Trickster experienced both highs and lows, his commitment to charitable causes remained constant. Through his success in high-risk oil and gas transactions in Latin America, he was fortunate enough to make a difference. He generously donated nearly 50% of his income to those in need and actively supported charity events.

Trickster’s life took a dramatic turn in 2017 during a perilous car accident in South France. Depicted in his latest single release ‘Still Kicking’, the incident resulted in the loss of all his physical assets, engulfed in a ball of flames, including evidence crucial to his work, which led to another – unjust – run in with the law. Astonishingly, he survived the accident unscathed, defying all odds and leaving authorities and witnesses astounded.

Socially Conscious Video Release From Rock Violin Legend Robby Steinhardt’s Swan Song Album “Not in Kansas Anymore”

Orlando, FL – Robby Steinhardt, the renowned violinist and vocalist known for his work with the band Kansas, second installment of a series of videos accompanying his critically acclaimed solo album “Not in Kansas Anymore” has been unveiled. The video for the song “Mother Earth” comes following the completion of the album, which occurred three months before Steinhardt’s untimely passing July 17, 2021.

Directed by Tom Lupo, the video serves as a poignant social commentary on one of Steinhardt’s deep-rooted concerns – mankind’s mistreatment of the planet and the global issue of pollution. Steinhardt, along with keyboardist/producer Michael Franklin, and bassist Tim Franklin, co-wrote and performed on the song featured in the video. Additional musicians contributing to this track include Tommy Calton, Jim Gentry and Sonny Ferguson on guitars, Matt Brown on drums and Robby on violin and vocals. The song also showcases the incredible talent of keyboardist Patrick Moraz, known for his work with Yes and The Moody Blues. Special Thanks to Jocelyn Hsu and Beniot Lajeunesse for their help.

Steinhardt and his band had been gearing up for a national tour when tragedy struck in May 2021, preventing them from bringing their music to fans across the country. The tour would have included performances of several tracks from “Not in Kansas Anymore” as well as selected Kansas songs that Robby considered to be his own contributions to the band’s rich legacy. Notably, the release of “Mother Earth” coincides with what would have been Robby’s 73rd birthday.

Fans can look forward to the forthcoming release of additional videos in the near future. “Not in Kansas Anymore” was nominated by Prog Report for Album of The Year, Song of the Year, (Truth to Power) and Album Cover of the Year.

SF Garage Rock Legends FLAMIN’ GROOVIES Release Vintage Live Album, Share A Sneak Peak!

Los Angeles, CA – Out of all of the bands that burst forth from the immensely fertile ‘60s Bay Area musical soil, the Flamin’ Groovies were undoubtedly one of the most unique. Formed in San Francisco in the mid-‘60s by guitarist Cyril Jordan, vocalist Roy Loney, and bassist George Alexander, the band combined straight ahead guitar –driven rock and roll, with garage rock and a bit of vaudeville thrown in for good measure.

During the seventies, after Roy Loney left and was replaced by lead singer Chris Wilson, the band changed its direction, being more greatly influenced by the Beatles and the Byrds, and becoming one of the foremost purveyors of what soon became known as “power pop”.  They released three classic albums on Sire Records, two of which were produced by Dave Edmunds. Like many of their Bay Area counterparts, the Groovies truly shone in a live setting where Jordan and company could truly display their brand of high energy rock and roll. The release of live recordings of the band has always been, and continues to be, a cause for great celebration.

Coming this July 7th, Flamin’ Groovies will be releasing “Rockin’ the Roundhouse”, a killer live album of vintage recordings from live shows in London in 1978 and 1976 that show exactly why this band maintains its fervent fanbase. The set includes not one but two performances of the Groovies’ most well-known song, “Shake Some Action”, along with “Don’t Put Me On”, “Sometimes,” “Between the Lines” and a superb cover of The Beatles’ “Please Please Me,” which fans can stream today!

There is not a day that goes by that hits by The Classics IV are not heard on the radio somewhere in the world! Songs like “Spooky” and “Stormy” have permeated the airways for over 50 years! And now The Classics IV is back with a new single “Your Turn”!

Says lead singer Tom Garrett, “The Classics IV has a strong history of hits with songs like ‘Spooky,’ ‘Stormy’ and ‘Traces (of Love).’ The idea of a new song like ‘Your Turn’ is to stay relevant. Not just resting on the past but looking forward with new music and new opportunities. I don’t know if there is a direct concept for this song. To us it’s a little old school, a little country and hopefully a little contemporary.”

The band recorded “Your Turn” with their great friend, Grammy Award winner Eric Nelson at his Eclipse Studio in Normal, Illinois. Eric is a master at his craft and his studio is top notch recording without having to travel.

Says Tom, “I guess the message in the song should be perfect for just about everyone. We have all fallen in love and gotten burned at one time or another. No matter who you are ‘Sooner or later, you’ll get your turn.’”

Coming up this summer The Classics IV are excited to be part of the Happy Together Tour. They will do about 60 shows all across the country. This their 4th time on the tour and it is great fun for the artist and the audience alike!

The Classics IV, one of the most popular and influential pop groups of the 60s and 70s, originated in Jacksonville, Florida. They achieved phenomenal success with hits “Spooky,” “Stormy,” “Traces,” and “Everyday With You Girl,” all of which sold well over a million copies and were awarded gold and platinum discs by the Recording Industry of America.  All four hits appeared in the 1977 film “The Chicken Chronicles” in addition to various other movie soundtracks including the hit HBO Series “Six Feet Under.”

By the 1970s The Classics IV accumulated a total of 16 Billboard chart hits, solidifying them as a hit-making pop group and crediting The Classics IV with the development of “Southern Soft Rock.” To date The Classics IV have recorded 17 albums including “Spooky,” “Lil Bit of Gold” “Traces” and “Golden Greats.”  In 1993 The Classics IV were inducted into The Georgia Music Hall of Fame.

The Classics IV popularity is stronger than ever performing in a variety of venues to rave reviews and receiving back-to-back invitations to join the hugely popular Happy Together Tour. The group continues captivating audiences with their professionalism, good humor, and ingratiating personalities. In 2011 The Classics IV returned to the studio with the release of their album, “A New Horizon,” blending the old with the new. 2015 saw the first ever “Live Album” with the release of “One Stormy Night – The Classics IV Live At The Ritz” and in 2020 the group received great reviews and airplay with the first ever Christmas release “All I want For Christmas Is You.”

STOCKTON, NJ – Julian Calv was a music major recently graduated from Moravian University in Bethlehem, PA. He now resides in the art community of Woodstock, VT. Calv can occasionally be seen on Church Street in Burlington, VT, busking much in the way Moondog, aka the Viking of Sixth Avenue, had done in NYC during the 50’s and 60’s.

Calv has studied every aspect of the avant-garde musician’s creative life. In addition to composing and performing, Moondog’s life included the invention of several musical instruments, most famously the trimba (a sort of triangular drum). Calv has even built his own one-of-a-kind trimba, going to great lengths to travel to Sweden and Germany to meet with fellow Moondog aficionados, and study the design of the instrument. Moondog archivist Wolfgang Gnida states, “Julian Calv – The future of the trimba, that’s what I called Julian some time ago. That may seem a bit of an exaggeration, but since the time I’ve been working at the Moondog Archive, I’ve yet to meet a musician who has been as intensely involved with the trimba as Julian. His first trimba was still made from drums put together, but his first homemade trimba based on Moondog’s model soon followed.”

Stefan Lakatos, Moondog’s friend, student, and ‘the leading exponent of the Moondog method of drumming’ (as Moondog called him) accepted Julian as a trimba player. A recognition that Stefan never gave to any other musician. “Those who listen to Julian’s two recordings ‘Route 4’ and ‘Thorn and Roots’ will, if they are old enough, remember Moondog of the 50’s and 60’s, its compositions with nature sounds and the irregular rhythms. Julian follows this tradition (‘Roots’) and brings this feeling of handmade, but not easy, music to our time (‘Route’). Let’s follow him on his way.”

Calv has now been creating his own percussion-based compositions in a style reminiscent of the late composer. His first release, “Route 4,” and follow up “Thorn and Roots” have been picked up on multiple Spotify playlists. As Calv explains, “‘Route 4’ and ‘Thorn and Roots,’ these are location inspired compositions that I’m exuberant to now have in physical form. As a start to my continuation of Moondog’s legacy, I’m quite proud of how they came out. This certainly would not have been possible without the right visual artist to communicate such free-flowing music, and Garrett Flanagan is the one we have to thank for that.”
