RESOLUTION ALLEY RELEASES DEBUT ALBUM PIECES OF NEVER ON CD AND VINYL THROUGH DEKO ENTERTAINMENT

RELEASED AUGUST 1, 2025

Stockton, NJ – Resolution Alley is the musical vision of Jason Wilson, a musician and composer hailing from Maryland. Jason released his first album in 1997 as a solo project called Emerald Tiers and the album was entitled, Whisper The First Scene. Jason also sang on the first Dark Aether Project album and performed several shows with them, including opening for The Flower Kings, Anekdotan and Always Almost. Emerald Tiers evolved into more of a band project than a solo effort and, by the time they entered the studio to record a follow-up, the decision was made to change the band’s name to Sustained In Jade. In 2002, they released Sketching The Perfect View and continued to perform around DC and Maryland for a couple of more years, including shows with Crack The Sky and King’s X.

Now, five years in the making, Pieces Of Never combines 80’s pop and rock melodies with progressive rock influences and creates a unique, yet strangely nostalgic sound. Resolution Alley released their first single and lyric video for “The B-Side” in March and follow up “You Are” in May.

As Wilson explains, “Pieces Of Never took me a while to complete.  It’s not just years of writing music but years of life that inspired these songs.  Some songs were created to help me heal…others just to give a shout to what the world sent my way.”  From the smallest clubs to the Kennedy Center, Jason has shared the stage with some of the biggest names of stage, screen and music. Resolution Alley combines the influence of a career in rock and theater into a distinctive creation.

CO-PRODUCED BY MIKE ORLANDO (ADRENALINE MOB) WITH SPECIAL GUEST RON ‘BUMBLEFOOT’ THAL (FORMERLY OF GUNS N’ ROSES)

Stockton, NJ – Originally formed in 1996 in New York City, Boiler Room released their self‑titled, independent album that same year produced by future Guns N’ Roses guitarist Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal. The addition of Rob Caggiano (Anthrax, Volbeat) in 1998 began a creative writing relationship between him and singer Chris Lino and elevated the bands sound and performance. 1999 saw the band opening for nationally recognized acts along the East Coast, including Type O Negative, Life of Agony, Clutch and Static‑X, helping them catch the attention of renowned NYC radio station 92.3 K‑ROCK. Upon the release of their album they toured with Disturbed, Mudvanye, Kittie, and also Headlined a club tour in Europe.

The band disbanded in 2001, with Caggiano leaving to join Anthrax and the other members dispersing into various projects. Chris Lino connected with Mike Orlando and finally in 2022, Orlando reached out to Chris and suggested that he consider re-recording and re-releasing some of Boiler Room’s previously released songs. The result is Rectify which includes the brand-new stand out tracks “Haunted” and “Rectify”.

As Lino states, “I am pumped to re-release some great Boiler Room tunes and drop new material as well on this album. Special thanks to Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal for his guest appearance on the new tune “Rectify”. Crushed it! As usual!” Thal continues, “I’ve been a fan of Chris Lino and Boiler Room ever since recording their first album, back in the ’90s.  So happy to collaborate once again, this time with a guest solo on their song ‘Rectify’…!”

All the songs were co‑produced, mixed, mastered, and engineered by Mike Orlando at his Sonic Stomp Studio in New York City. Jason Bittner (Shadows Fall, Category 7, Overkill) was brought in to play drums on the album while Orlando laid down the rhythm guitars. Ron ‘Bumblefoot’ Thal guest appears on the title track “Rectify”. The lineup of Pete Rizzi (Who on Earth) laid down the bass, guitarist Nick Seditious (Soraia, Out of Exile) performed solos on select tracks, and the band recruited Tommy Spano (Sekond Skyn, A Pale Horse Named Death, Corey Glover) on drums to round out the lineup.

ASIA Featuring John Payne Announce New Band Member Francis Dunnery (It Bites, The Syn)

Long time former ASIA front man John Payne (1990 to 2006), and from 2006 to present, the lead vocalist of ASIA featuring John Payne, would like to welcome guitarist and singer Francis Dunnery to the band.

Francis’ pedigree spans from fronting the mighty IT BITES, to recording and touring with Robert Plant. He has collaborated with artists including Robert Plant, Ian Brown, Lauryn Hill, Santana, and Anderson Bruford Wakeman Howe, and as a producer and/or collaborator with David Sancious, Chris Difford (Squeeze), James Sonefeld (Hootie and the Blowfish), Erin Moran, Steven Harris (The Cult, Zodiac Mindwarp and the Love Reaction), and Ashley Reaks (Younger Younger 28s).

Dunnery was one of the candidates invited to audition as a lead singer and frontman for Genesis following Phil Collins’ departure in 1996. He also played in the reformed 1960s beat/prog band The Syn between 2008 and mid-2009.

“I can’t think of a more apt musician to join the band, he’s a musical genius! I’ve followed his incredible work since the 80’s. My dear friend Alan Shacklock produced the first IT BITES album and I visited the studio whilst he was mixing it at RAK in London. I was blown away by the songs, the vocals, and the incredible guitar playing.

Frank and I have a great musical chemistry that has awoken a fire within me. We are currently in the studio writing the new album, AVIANA, at Loco Studios in Las Vegas, and hitting the road in August. After 8 albums with ASIA and a prog ASIA featuring John Payne album, this will be our first new material studio album.

To work with such a great songwriter and guitarist is so exciting. Our vocal harmonies both in the studio and live feel like we’ve been working together for years. It feels like our paths had to get here. We both grew from the same tree- destiny! Add to this my long-time friend and keyboard monster, Ryo Okumoto (Spocks Beard and GPS), and drummers, Thomas Lang and Aaron Olsen, we have created a new and exciting chapter of the band.”

Francis Dunnery commented, “I am dreadfully excited to be creating and playing music with John, he’s such a talented guy. The whole project feels fated in some mysterious way. I know deep in my bones we are supposed to do this. I’m very grateful to John for including me in this chapter of the band and I hope that my contribution can confirm he chose the right guy for the job”.

Winter 2025 will see the completion of the new studio album, AVIANA, keeping the “A’s” theme, with album artwork from Rodney Matthews, who previously worked with ASIA on the AQUA, ARENA and ARCHIVA records. Release is expected late 2025 or early 2026. A tour will follow that in 2026. Whilst most of this years shows are US based the band are excited to headline two UK shows: HRH PROG 15 FESTIVAL, Great Yarmouth on November 15th and O2 SHEPHERDS BUSH EMPIRE, London (with FOGHAT) on November 16th, 2025.

Legendary guitarist and keyboardist Mike Keneally announced that he will be touring with his band Beer For Dolphins in October 2025. Mike and his band will be accompanied on stage by special guests Dave Bainbridge and Sally Minnear, who will also perform an opening set. The tour shows will kick off with a solo set performed by Matt Dorsey. Beer For Dolphins will be performing a mix of material from across 30 years of Keneally’s solo catalog. Says Mike, “the addition of Dave and Sally to our lineup for part of our set will allow us to add several songs that are usually a bit beyond our ability to fully pull off on stage, vocally and instrumentally.”

Long acclaimed as one of the world’s most creative and intense guitar and keyboard players, Mike Keneally’s talents as a vocalist, songwriter, arranger, producer and multi-instrumentalist are nearly unequalled in rock music.

Keneally has released nearly 30 albums of his original music since 1992 and has built a body of work of remarkable inventiveness and originality.

Keneally played in Frank Zappa’s last touring band, performing as a vocalist, guitarist and keyboardist and appearing on many Zappa albums. Since 2019, Keneally has been a constant right-hand presence to Canadian phenom Devin Townsend, both in the studio and on the road. Keneally also performs as a member of all-star progressive collective ProgJect. His touring/recording credits include Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Dethklok, Mastodon, Robert Fripp, Wayne Kramer, Kevin Gilbert, The Loud Family, Henry Kaiser, Michael Manring, Screamin’ Jay Hawkins, Andy Prieboy, Mullmuzzler (James LaBrie), The Persuasions, and many others.

Keneally’s talents have been called into service for many another artist, but now it’s time for him to make some waves onstage with his own material once again. Known for his innovative, unpredictable live shows, Keneally has played extensively in the United States and Europe, in contexts ranging from solo and duo concerts to performances with large-scale orchestras.

His band Mike Keneally & Beer For Dolphins – a quartet which includes bassist Bryan Beller (The Aristocrats, Joe Satriani, Dethklok), drummer Joe Travers (Zappa Plays Zappa, Duran Duran, Eric Johnson), and guitarist Rick Musallam (Ben Taylor, The Roots, Byrd York) – is the molten core of the Keneally live rock band experience, and having been playing almost exclusively on the West Coast since pre-pandemic days. They very much look forward to doing what needs to be done on the other side of the US after a too-long hiatus.

Joining Keneally’s band for some of the songs in the set will be Dave Bainbridge and Sally Minnear. Dave and Sally will also perform as a duo right before Keneally takes the stage.

Award winning multi-instrumentalist Dave Bainbridge joins forces with Lord of The Dance vocalist & instrumentalist Sally Minnear to bring a spellbinding set of music that will, in equal measure, have you jigging in (or out of!) your seat or bring a tear to your eye. A compelling mix of powerful and ethereal vocal songs (including the occasional emotive Gaelic ballad), instrumental tracks (jigs / reels / slow airs / evolving soundscapes), and virtuoso improvisation on keyboards, electric guitar, bouzouki, and cowbell.

Jann Klose Brings NYC To Life In Mesmerizing Stop-Motion Video For “When I’m With You”

New York City, NY – Internationally acclaimed singer-songwriter Jann Klose has unveiled the official music video for his latest single, “When I’m With You,” a joyful, synth-rock celebration of human connection. The video—shot entirely using stop-motion cinematography—was directed by Texas-born filmmaker Sam Casey and filmed on location throughout New York City, including iconic landmarks like Times Square, Lincoln Center, and the High Line.

The visually captivating video is the product of over 2,000 photographs, taken in a whirlwind six-hour shoot. Each frame was carefully captured one step at a time—echoing the lyricism and sentiment of the song itself. Jann’s idea to incorporate the concept of a “Daumenkino” (flipbook in German) into the visual storytelling adds a personal and playful layer to the experience, blending innovation with heart.

“I had this idea of shooting a full-on stop motion music video in NYC and pitched it to Sam just days after we met,” says Klose. “He loved it and jumped on board immediately. It was exhausting but exhilarating, and the result is beautiful. Along the way, we engaged with random fans on the street—something that really reflects the soul of the song, ‘When I’m With You.’”

Director Sam Casey embraced the challenge of using stop motion in a city that never pauses: “This is the first project I’ve done using stop-motion, and it was a blast. Jann’s vision for the flipbook opening—his ‘daumenkino’—set the tone. Shooting in NYC with moving elements all around us while controlling just one or two subjects gave the video a surreal, dreamlike quality. You don’t get multiple takes with stop motion, which makes each frame more intentional and alive.”

The single, co-written with Everett Bradley (Bon Jovi, Seal), is a vibrant and emotionally resonant anthem about intimacy, presence, and joy. Everett also co-produced and performed on the track, with production support from Marcus Dembinski, known for his work on Klose’s previous single “Surrender.”

“Now it’s an upbeat celebration with deep undertones of the human connection experience,” says Bradley.

Dembinski adds: “We leaned into influences like 80s synth pop, Billy Joel, A-ha, and the B-52s, and paired them with Jann’s powerhouse vocals and acoustic energy to craft a new sound for him—one that’s bold, bright, and honest.”

With its one-of-a-kind stop-motion artistry, spontaneous New York moments, and heartfelt storytelling, the “When I’m With You” music video is a vivid reminder that joy lives in the little things and connection is always just one step away.

‘Singer in a Rock and Roll Band’ Tour – Featuring Moody Blues Songs from the Classic Albums is heading to California, Arizona, Texas and Oklahoma!

John Lodge, legendary bass player, songwriter and vocalist of The Moody Blues, and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, has announced more dates for his electrifying new show titled ‘Singer in a Rock and Roll Band’! Dates are already on sale for the North East and Midwest, and now dates have been announced for California, Arizona, Texas and Oklahoma. This will be the first time John has taken his show to many of these venues!

Following the phenomenal success of his ‘Days of Future Passed’ show over the last couple of years, John wanted to now go back to basics and bring a true Moody Blues show to the fans. What are the songs that he loved performing in the Moody Blues, and how could he recreate the sound and the feel of one of these special concerts. Thanks to the incredible musicianship of his band, and his experience of performing these songs over 50 years, John will perform these classic songs true to the original but with an extra dash of magic, evoking joy and nostalgia in equal measure.

It may no longer be possible to go to a ‘Moody Blues’ show, but as Gary Spiller said in a recent review “Check the dictionary entry for ‘timeless’ and evenings like this are right there!”

When John wrote the hit single ‘Singer’ in 1972 it was because people were looking to him to change the world, and his reply was he’s just a singer in a rock and roll band! Despite time marching on, that is still who is he today, and John’s shows will take you on a Moody Blues journey through the hits and deep cuts of this magical catalogue, together with stories and memories of this time.

This incredible new show feature songs from ‘the core seven albums’ including ‘Days of Future Passed’, Seventh Sojourn, and more, plus ‘Octave’ and the triple platinum selling album ‘Long Distance Voyager’.  It will bring together some of the captivating moments of his ‘Days of Future Passed’ show, John’s hits with the Moodies, and, of course, tributes to all his bandmates. This truly will be a show of Moodies Magic and ‘a trip worth taking and remembering’! (Tony Violanti)

Together with Jon Davison of YES and his 10,000 Light Years Band, John will lovingly recreate ‘I’m Just a Singer (in a Rock and Roll Band)’, ‘Nights in White Satin’, ‘Ride my See-Saw’, ‘Gemini Dream’, ‘Tuesday Afternoon’, ‘The Voice’, ‘Steppin’ in Slide Zone’, ‘Isn’t Life Strange’ and much more. The December dates kick off on December 4th at Cerritos PAC, and end in Austin on December 14.  This will be John’s first solo shows in Austin and Oklahoma City, and he’s delighted to be able to continue to bring these shows to new audiences!

Following a stroke at the end of 2023, John has gone from strength to strength, driven by his love for this music, and his deeply held desire to ‘keep the Moody Blues music alive’. The critically acclaimed shows are testament to his passion and commitment, and as John says, his hope is that people leave with a little bit of joy around them.

Dave Bainbridge’s 5th solo album ‘On the Edge (of what could be)’ is perhaps his most ambitious yet. Bringing together all the elements that have characterised his music since he co-founded the band Iona, ‘On the Edge’ brings 83 minutes of new atmospheric, spiritual and powerful music to the listener that defies genre (a bold claim perhaps, but how else do you describe music that truly merges folk, rock, progressive, jazz and modern classical elements with vocals in both Scottish and Irish Gaelic as well as English?

This album is more than just a collection of tracks; it’s an essential experience for both collectors and new listeners alike, that goes beyond mere listening. Full Moon stands as a testament to Shankar’s unparalleled ability to transform traditional forms into a sublime musical experience, inviting the listener to lose themselves in its ethereal beauty.

The central piece on the Full Moon album is the track Aberi Fantasy. It’s structured like a raga-based improvisation, unfolding in multiple parts — each one reflecting a phase of the lunar cycle. Just as the moon moves through its transitions — from full moon to new moon over fifteen days, gradually disappearing from view — the music moves through a sequence of moods and ideas, seamlessly woven together. Shankar envisioned the entire album as a kind of full moon — a complete circle. Each section of Aberi Fantasy represents a part of that circle. There are tabla solos and instrumental passages, each occupying its own place, as if arranged around the moon’s circumference. The piece, and the album as a whole, is a journey through light and shadow, fullness and absence — just like the moon itself.

Says Shankar, “We only have one life to live, and in times like these, peace, love, and unity are more important than ever. Inner peace allows us to share love and knowledge with others. I truly believe that we are stronger together than we are alone — a team can achieve far more than any one person. Shankar’s next album is titled “ANSWERS” — a progressive rock album featuring many incredible star-studded musicians including Tony Levin, Josh Lopez, Dave Palmer, Zack Baird, Dileep, Stephen Perkins, Scott Seiver, Juliett Rose, and Jeff Gross — most of whom also played on Shankar’s album “CHEPLEERI DREAM”, released in 2021. It’s a beautiful and powerful album, full of infectious beats, rich grooves, and lyrics, brought to life by amazing players. It’s set to release in two and a half months on Big Dream Records via The Orchard / Sony.

Following that, Shankar has another album titled “Ocean of Truth” — more like a soundtrack, in the spirit of the work he did for The Passion of the Christ with Martin Scorsese and Peter Gabriel. It’s a spacey, dreamy, cinematic album, where Shankar used various raga systems to evoke different emotions. This album will be released on XDOT 25 / The Orchard / Sony, after ANSWERS.

L. Shankar also has an extensive tour schedule — he will be touring India from November to February, followed by tours in the United States, Europe, Australia. Says Shankar, “In between tours, I travel with a mobile studio, so I’m able to record wherever I am — I’m constantly on the move, creating and recording.”
